My Reading List for 2019

Every Year we have these new goals to change and some even making reading goals like how many books they want to read this year. Reading a book a month or even making a reading list like me.

This is my Reading list for 2019.

1. The Minimalist House

I've heard great things about this book and the concept of a book going into detail with each room specific decluttering is interesting to me.

2. You Are a Badass

This book has honestly always enticed me and I've questioned reading it for quite some time but after all the good things I heard about it I really wanted to read it.

3. Big Magic: Creative Living beyond fear

I Originally heard about this book on numerous Youtube channels. I am currently reading this one and I 100% recommend it.

4. Rise and Grind

When it comes to this book it wasn't initially on my list but I found an amazing deal for the audiobook. Around new years there was a 2 for 1. Don't worry if you didn't catch it though you can still purchase it and enjoy the stories told inside.

5. Make your bed

This book made me very excited as I wanted to see the little habits and suggestions that it has in store. I can't wait to get started with this one.

6. Girl, wash your face

I found out about this book fairly easily as it is quite popular. I have heard only great things about this book.

7. Dare to Lead

I've been thinking about reading this book for a while considering I feel like I need to take more leadership in my life and books usually inspire me to change.

8. Judgment Detox

I actually didn't hear about this book in particular but the author, Gabrielle Bernstein. I find the concept of the book too interesting and if I like it might consider reading some of her other books.

9. Everybody Lies

I originally heard about this book through Lavendaires Youtube channel. It's a little bit different from the other ones because it's based on google searches and how people will bend them and such. I am really interested in reading and learning about the statistics.
10. Out-witting The Devil

This one is a religious one that I found about in the comments of the video of Lavendaire's. I personally am not religious but I find that I get curious about certain subjects and I feel this book could be a good viewpoint when I am feeling that little bit more curious than usual.
11. In the Company of woman

This book I've just wanted to read forever but just never gotten to it. This year I really want to read it.
12. The year of less

I love the minimalism sub-genre. I actually learned about minimalism through books and I really love them so whenever I find a book I haven't read I get excited Ecstatic even.

I am super excited for the new year and would love it if you guys would check out this books. I am starting a book club for this year which you guys can access anytime through this link for the year of 2019.

I will be running it month by month using the list books. I hope to see some of you there.

“We are of opinion that instead of letting books grow moldy behind an iron grating, far from the vulgar gaze, it is better to let them wear out by being read.” – Jules Verne

How to Holistically Heal a Case of the Flu

It's summer, the sun is shining bright and the stars shine just as bright at night. People get sunburns, tans, cute swimsuits and are free to live in the warm weather. But in my case the summer still leaves me with the weeks upon weeks of sickness where I have to look out the window at the warm sunshine thinking "damn I wanna run be in the blazing heat right now" and then I start having a coughing fit. Haha, so I personally like to be a little more holistic when it comes to medicine and all that but weather you take Dayquil or not shouldn't affect your choice to follow my sick "routine". So here are My top tips and tricks on healing quickly if your sick and need a boost of healing power! 1.    Kick Ass medicine         I know with the name i'm seem a little bit intense but i'm not joking when I'm saying you need to buy this stuff. It's actually called kick ass too and I can tell you guys that this stuff is the absolute be...

Reset challenge: Home

Welcome or welcome back!                         This week in my reset challenge it was all about resetting my house. Cleaning up and just getting it prepared for everything to come this year. Now I decided I wanted to do a total re-do of my room for this to completely reset your space. A note is that I 100% did not finish as I only painted the walls. Not even getting to the carpet shampooing and to be honest even that painting isn't done. But here's how everything went.             I got everything boxed up not thinking about decluttering just yet throwing it into another room and I called it a day. Next, I moved the furniture out getting the room completely cleaned off and prepared for the painting process when it came to. it was a finally a good evening when I put the paint on the alls for the first time. I had only seen my walls with the same hideous purple (no offense to anyone who like...

What Video Games can teach you about living a Meaningful Life

Most often minimalists will talk about removing things that make you unhappy. But sometimes they say that they don't have time to do the things that they love like playing video games.                    So what's the real reason for me using video games as an objective thing to teach a lesson. Well, great question but it's more about me wanting to say I had an awesome childhood and family where we would gather together in the living room and all go through 3 or 4 dungeons on World of Warcraft or Guild of wars 2 or whatever game we were playing together at the time. Well, I do wish we still did this I know the benefits of control and discipline (as well as how awesome my parents are).               When you love video games there is a difference between loving and choosing. You want to play them every hour of the day and that's what childhoo...
